Biodata

Gabriel Herrera Salazar: He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with a postdoctoral stay in the graduate program in Humanities in the area of Moral and Political Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Mexico - Iztapalapa (UAM-I); he has a master's degree in Social and Humanistic Sciences from the Center for Higher Studies of Mexico and Central America (CESMECA) at the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas (UNICACH) and a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from UAM-I. He has specialized in the fields of Ethics, Political Philosophy, and Liberation Philosophy. He has worked as a teacher, focusing on young people. He is the author of the books: Vida humana, muerte y sobrevivencia [Human Life, Death, and Survival] (2015), Ensayos heréticos [Heretical Essays] (2016), Metodología de la liberación para las Ciencias Sociales [Liberation Methodology for Social Sciences] (2018), and y Buscando fondo en el vacío y otros cuentos [Seeking Depth in the Void and Other Stories] (2019). Since 2010, he has been a member of the Association of Philosophy and Liberation (AFyL).
