Abstract
The present text offers an approximation to the current conditions of Violence in two irregular Settlements in the City of Cancun, which is located in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico, as a consequence of the labor Migration experienced by this Locality since its creation in 1970 as an Integral Tourism Center. In order to complete this Document, in addition to the bibliographical Review, an hemerographic Follow was carried out to monitor local and national Media and an ethnographic Research in the Districts El Milagro and Tres Reyes from April 2016 to June 2017. In general, it can be anticipated that the present manifestations of Violence in Cancun and the continuous emergence of irregular Settlements show the institutional incapacity of the State to plan and attend to the needs of security and housing of the local Population.
