Call for thematic dossiers 2020-2021


NuestrAmérica Journal, ISSN 0719-3092, with the firm conviction that work in academic networks must be strengthened, invites all interested people to present their own thematic dossiers from their study areas with critical approaches and social impact to be published in future editions.

Those interested in the thematic issue should agree along with at least 6 or 5 authors to submit articles for evaluation in peer-review system within the dossier, and 1 text for the “militant academy” section, which may be a brief essay from localized experiences or Social criticism. The proposals must be final, with the possibility of being changed at the moment of acceptance.


The requirements for postulation will be as follows:

1 – Name of the thematic editor(s), email to contact and biodata, all not more than 8 lines (the proposal can be from  one proponent and maximum  three).

2 – Name, email to contact and biodata from all of the authors on the proposal;

3 -  Working titles of at least 5 articles, including their  provisional abstracts on not more than 5 lines;

4 -  Working title of 1 paper for the section "militant academy".


With the exception of the author of the section of “militant academy”, all the authors will have to count with concluded postgraduate degree.

Once the proposals have been received and closed the call, the results of the selected dossiers will be given over the next three weeks. Accepted dossiers will follow scheduled submission dates by NuestrAmérica Journal board committee.

* The acceptance of a dossier proposal does not imply the publication of its articles. All works will be evaluated in peer review / doble blind  system. Publication dates  will be decided  by the journal board committee within the 2020-2021 platform.


The proposal must be sent in a “.doc” file or “.docx” attachment  to the e-mail address with the following subject:  DOSSIER PROPOSAL. We will not consider  incomplete submissions .


Deadline for submission: Saturday, October 5th, 2019.
